Johannes Hagemann

Johannes Hagemann is a co-founder and CTO at PrimeIntellect, focusing on surpassing limitations of traditional computing infrastructures using distributed, low-communication training approaches to enable the training of large AI models. Prior to his current role, he worked as an AI Research Engineer at Aleph Alpha, where he built a scalable and reliable LLM training framework. He also has experience as a Strategy Advisor at VitaDAO, Software Engineer at Bunch, Co-Founder at Space Browser, Co-Founder/Tech Lead at dnd development and design UG, and Software Programmer at qw-data GmbH. Johannes holds a Master of Science in IT-Systems Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Informatik from TU Dortmund University.
