Kanut Laoharawee, Ph.D.

Kanut Laoharawee, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the scientific and medical fields. Currently, they hold the position of Scientist I at Prime Medicine, Inc., starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from August 2016 to September 2022, where they gained research experience. Before pursuing their Ph.D., they worked at bioMérieux as a Product Manager from September 2004 to December 2007, and as a Sales Representative from October 2002 to September 2004. Kanut'searly career includes working as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Praram 9 Hospital from June 2000 to September 2002.

Kanut Laoharawee, Ph.D. pursued their education in the field of biology, specifically focusing on molecular, cellular, developmental biology, and genetics. From 2016 to 2021, they attended the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. During their doctoral studies, Kanut conducted research and expanded their knowledge in molecular, cellular, developmental biology, and genetics. Prior to their Ph.D., they completed their Master's degree in Biological Sciences with a specialization in gene/genetic therapy from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Throughout their academic journey, Kanut has dedicated himself to gaining comprehensive expertise in the biological sciences.
