Matt Irby

Matt Irby has extensive work experience in the field of molecular engineering and genotyping. Matt started their career at Monsanto Company in 2013 as a Research Associate in High Throughput Genotyping, where they worked until 2016. Matt then joined Caribou Biosciences, where they held several roles, starting as a Research Associate in Molecular Engineering from November 2016 to July 2019. Matt was then promoted to Senior Research Associate I and later Senior Research Associate II in Molecular Engineering, working until December 2021. Currently, they are working at Prime Medicine, Inc. as a Principal Associate Scientist in Off-Target Biology, starting in January 2022.

Matt Irby attended UC Santa Barbara from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
