Matthew Mertel

Matthew Mertel currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Prime Therapeutics, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this, Matthew held various leadership roles at Magellan Rx Management from November 2016 to December 2022, including Chief Operating and Technology Officer, General Manager of the Employer Market, and SVP of Strategic Innovation. Additionally, Matthew was the Chief Information Officer at Partners Rx Management, LLC from January 2003 to January 2013, and served as a Senior Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young between June 1997 and August 2000. Matthew holds an MBA in Strategy, Finance, and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, completed in January 2002.
