Hao W.

Hao W. has a long history of work experience. Hao started as an IT Technician at Gene Rock Inc. in 2014. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor and C++ Grader at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In 2015, they moved to Primeon Inc. where they held two roles: Vulnerability Assessment Project Manager - Engineer Manager and Software Engineer, Web Application Tester, Mobile Application Tester, and Desktop Application Tester. In these roles, they had over 5 years of hands-on experience in Web testing, Mobile testing, Desktop application testing, and Microservice testing. Hao was also responsible for building a proper threat model and using a high-efficient testing methodology to conduct the testing. Additionally, they were able to interpret the Security issues of each year's OWASP top 10 and financial industry VA issues and provide sufficient remediation solutions to secure systems with cost-effectiveness.

Hao W. obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Information Security from Yunnan University between 2007 and 2011. Hao then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell between 2012 and 2014. In 2015, Hao W. obtained the CEH certification from EC-Council in July. In 2017, they obtained the GMOB certification from GIAC Certifications in June. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in September. Finally, in 2022, Hao W. obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in November.
