Lang Zhu began their career in 2013 as a Jr Embedded Software Developer at Northeastern University, where they assisted the DSP Lab to develop C programs on a new embedded platform. Lang individually developed several image processing applications and implemented algorithms for RGB/HSV conversion with C language. Lang also set up a virtual FTP server in Linux and built average filter, edge enhancement, histogram equalization and histogram matching applications with C. In 2014, Lang Zhu joined Primeon, Inc. as the VP of Engineering and Vulnerability Assessment Project Manager.
Lang Zhu obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Engineering from Shandong University between 2007 and 2011. Lang then went on to earn a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University between 2012 and 2014. In 2015, they received a CEH certification from EC-Council. In 2017, they obtained a GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certification from Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC). In 2020, they received a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² and in 2022, they obtained a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)².
