Richard D.

Richard D. has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Richard currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Primmune Therapeutics, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations and R&D Planning at Intercept Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2021. From 2003 to 2018, Richard was employed by Amgen, where they held various roles including Executive Director and Oncology Therapeutic Area Lead, Program Management, Executive Director, R&D Quality Management, Director, R&D Quality Management, and Global Program Manager, Oncology. Before Amgen, they were the Product Director at Genicon Sciences (acquired by Life Technologies) from 1999 to 2003. Richard began their career in 1993 as a Research Scientist at Agouron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (acquired by Pfizer, Inc.), a role they held until 1996 when they were promoted to Clinical Research Scientist.
