Tony Farina

Tony Farina is a Bioinformatics Scientist at Primrose Bio, with prior experience as a Principal Scientist at Ligand Pharmaceuticals and a Chief Scientific Officer at Librede, Inc. Before that, Tony worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLA, focusing on purifying prokaryotic solute transporters, and as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego, specializing in Glutamate receptor trafficking and IkB Kinase specificity. Tony also has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Riverside, where Tony completed a thesis on c-Myc:Max nucleosome and DNA binding. Tony holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
