Michael Lovitt

Michael Lovitt began their career in 2007 at Lovitt Blinds & Drapery as a Sales Manager. In this role, they grew top-line sales by 20% by consistent sales coaching, implementing web sales, and networking with key clients. Michael also coached sales associates on product knowledge through in-store product training and conducted monthly staff performance evaluations to establish career progression plans.

In 2016, Michael Lovitt joined Primus Electronics Corporation as an Inside Sales Administrator and later became their Warehouse Manager. In this role, they implemented daily safety discussions, monthly safety committee meetings, and achieved and maintained a 100% level of service ensuring customer satisfaction. Michael also provided direct leadership to a headcount of employees and worked closely with different business units while overseeing daily activities to ensure the business operated efficiently. Michael increased communication effectiveness among customers, vendors, brokers, and warehouses and significantly improved picking and shipping quality by tracking and following up on every error made.

Michael Lovitt attended Joliet Junior College from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Michael then went on to the University of Phoenix, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, which they are expected to complete by 2022.
