Matthew Slade is an experienced educator and sports coach currently serving as the Director of Football, First XVIII Head Coach, and Senior Secondary Educator at Prince Alfred College since January 2020. Previously, Matthew Slade worked at Craigmore High School for 19 years, holding roles as a High School Teacher and Senior School Manager, focusing on Physical Education, Outdoor Education, Science, and SOSE. In addition to educational roles, Matthew Slade has extensive coaching experience in Australian Rules Football, including positions as the 15 and Under State Australian Rules Football Coach with School Sports Australia since May 2015, Head Coach of the SANFLW League for North Adelaide Football Club from January 2017 to December 2019, and an Assistant League Coach from January 2011 to December 2013. Matthew Slade also has experience in sports media as a SANFL commentator and presenter for ABC Television. Matthew Slade has a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of South Australia and has been recognized as an eight-time premiership winner as a league footballer and captain for Central District Football Club.
