Lukas Melcher

Lukas Melcher is an experienced firefighter and emergency medical technician with a diverse background in fire and security services. Since March 2016, Lukas has served as a firefighter for the Prince George's County Fire Department. Concurrently, involvement includes serving as Firefighter 2 and EMT-B at West Lanham Hills Volunteer Company 28 since March 2015, as well as holding a position as a security police officer, EMT-B IV tech, and Firefighter 2 with Alutiiq Security since February 2014. Additionally, Lukas has been affiliated with English Consul VFD Company 37 since January 2009 as an EMT-B IV tech and Firefighter 2. Educational achievements include certifications from OSHA/MOSHA in construction safety and health, training at the NASA Federal Training Academy for federal arrest authority, and comprehensive training through MFRI in Fire 1 and 2, EMT-B IV technician programs, hazardous materials, CPR, and blood borne pathogens. The foundational education was completed at Lansdowne High School from 2005 to 2009, supplemented with training as an electrical technician through the Associated Builders and Contractors.
