Andy Cooke-Welling

Andy Cooke-Welling is an experienced law enforcement professional with extensive expertise in international cooperation and crime investigation. Currently serving as a Board Member for Independent Monitoring Boards since November 2021 and as Deputy Director at the UK Home Office since July 2020, Andy heads the United Kingdom Central Authority responsible for judicial cooperation, mutual legal assistance, and extradition. Previous roles include leadership positions at the National Crime Agency, where Andy led the UK International Crime Bureau and served as the UK head of Interpol and Europol.
