Since joining Princeton Consultants in 1998, Shem has helped the leadership of transportation companies transform operations and processes to substantially improve asset utilization and increase network efficiency. He has built custom systems and applications for highly complex business environments, interfacing with client executives in different lines of business, Operations and IT, and working with teams of consultants and developers.
Shem’s strategic engagements include the rigorous analysis of major technology decisions, typically involving requirements and vendor assessment. Specialties include: asset utilization and optimization; forecasting using machine learning and advanced data science techniques; operational simulation; intermodal terminal operations; and process optimization.
Shem graduated with distinction from McGill University in Montreal with an MSc in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics.
