Donnacha Loughrey

Donnacha Loughrey currently serves as CEO of Principal Global Investors (Ireland) Ltd at Principal Asset Management, a global investment management business under Principal Financial Group since September 2022. Prior to this role, Donnacha held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Crossroads Capital Management Ltd from December 2015 to April 2022, where Donnacha established the company as a reputable UCITS and AIFM Management Company and oversaw its acquisition by Hauck & Aufhäuser. Donnacha's earlier experience includes leadership roles at KBC Fund Management Ltd, including Head of Alternative Investments & Third Party Funds, and a tenure at Goldman Sachs as Global Strategist. Donnacha began the professional career at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers as an analyst. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Investment & Treasury from Dublin City University Business School, a BBS in International Marketing & Business from Trinity College Dublin, and designation as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst since March 2012.
