Therese Johnson

Therese Johnson, CIPM, has over 23 years of experience in investment performance management, currently serving as Associate Director of Investment Performance & GIPS at Principal Asset Management since June 2007. In this role, Therese leads a global team focused on portfolio and GIPS composite investment performance across various asset classes including Equity, Fixed Income, Real Estate, Asset Allocation, and Alternatives. Previously, Therese served as Lead Investment Operations Analyst, acting as a subject matter expert on the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and chairing working groups that involved senior staff in compliance discussions. Therese also held the position of Senior Investment Performance Analyst, overseeing multiple composite strategies and related GIPS documentation. Earlier in career, Therese worked at Cahaba GBA as a Senior Reimbursement Analyst, focusing on the health care industry's audit and reimbursement processes. Therese holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and an MBA from Drake University.
