Freddie Acho Bian

Freddie Acho Bian has a diverse background in the banking industry. Freddie Acho started their career at Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad as a Credit Officer and later became a Branch Manager. Freddie Acho then moved to Bumiputra Commerce Bank Berhad as an Area Sales Manager. After that, they joined CIMB Bank Berhad as an Area Retail Manager and was later promoted to Regional Director, overseeing multiple branches. In 2015, they became the Head of Consumer Sales and Distribution (Preferred)1, managing a team of Regional Directors and overseeing the sales performance of 50 Preferred Branches. Freddie Acho then transitioned to the role of Managing Director and Head of Retirement Services at CIMB-Principal Asset Management Company Limited. In 2016, they took on the role of Managing Director and Head of Corporate Responsibility at CIMB Foundation, where they managed the department and its portfolio of projects across the region. Throughout their career, Freddie has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of achieving key performance indicators.

Freddie Acho Bian completed their Higher School Certificate (HSC) in A Level from Tanjong Lobang College in 1979. Freddie Acho then pursued a degree in Chartered Company Secretaries from Universiti Teknologi MARA, where they studied from 1981 to 1984. In the same period, they also attended the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Park Crescent, London, where they obtained the ACIS(UK) degree in Company Secretary.
