Ciro Giraldez, CFA, FRM, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and analysis. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager and Head of Balanced Strategies at Principal Chile since March 2021, Ciro previously held roles at Principal Financial Group, where responsibilities included senior analyst positions in balanced funds and fixed income analysis from September 2017 to March 2021. Ciro's experience also encompasses significant roles at the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Chile, focusing on sovereign funds and international reserve management. Ciro commenced a career in finance with research assistance at Le Fort Economía y Finanzas and an internship at the Central Bank. Academically, Ciro holds a Master's degree in Finance and an undergraduate degree in Commercial Engineering with a concentration in Economics, both from Universidad de Chile.
