Laura Murphy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and relationship management within the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Director of Sales at Principal Financial Group since August 2016, Laura previously held the position of Agency Relationship Manager for Humana, where responsibilities included overseeing Specialty Business sales for group sizes 2+ in the Central/Coastal California region. Prior to that, Laura worked as an Employee Benefits Sales Executive at Morris & Garritano Insurance from 1994 to January 2012, focusing on providing group health insurance solutions to various businesses. Laura's career began with a role in Marketing at Health Net, supporting the launch of Medicare products from 1990 to 1992. Education includes studies at California Lutheran University and completion of high school at William S. Hart High School.
