Troy Downs

Troy Downs is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in internal audit and tax services. Currently serving as Director of Internal Audit at Principal Financial Group since September 2000, Troy has also held the position of Audit Manager/Assistant Director in the same department. In addition, Troy is the President and Owner of Downs Tax Services LLC, a role held since January 2007. Troy Downs holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northwest Missouri State University, obtained between 1986 and 1990.
