Vinai Oddiraju

Vinai Oddiraju, CFA, currently serves as a Trader/Quantitative Analyst at Principal Financial Group, a position held since September 2020. Previously, Vinai worked as a Research Analyst at First Citizens Bank, where statistical learning techniques were deployed to forecast returns across 20 asset classes for the asset allocation team. Additional experience includes roles as a Resident Assistant at Duke University, fostering a supportive environment for students, and as a Capital Management Intern at First Citizens Bank, where an analytics application was developed for fixed income trading. Vinai co-founded MindPatch, a mobile app aimed at assisting PTSD victims, and contributed as a Data Analyst and Researcher for the Durham Neighborhood Compass. Earlier research work involved assisting in the analysis of infectious diseases at the Duke University Medical Center. Vinai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistical Science from Duke University.
