Mahathir Mohamed Ahamed Elias

Mahathir Mohamed Ahamed Elias is an experienced professional in risk management, currently serving as Associate Director of Risk Management at Principal Asset Management Berhad since January 2019. Previously, Mahathir held the position of Vice President of Operational Risk Management at AmFunds Management Berhad from March 2008 to January 2019, where notable achievements included leading an Operational Risk Management unit and successfully implementing a trading and investment compliance system. Mahathir started as a junior executive in 2008 and developed significant expertise over a decade, particularly in mandate monitoring and risk management procedures. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Management (Technology) Hons. with a minor in Manufacturing Management and a Diploma in Management of Technology, both from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
