Reed D. Walters

Reed D. Walters, CIMA®, is a highly experienced investment professional currently serving as Senior Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Principal Street Partners since February 2024. Previously, Reed held the position of Senior Investment Manager at Merrill Lynch from November 2020 to January 2024, where responsibilities included acting as Chief Investment Officer and leading the investment committee. Reed's extensive career also includes roles as President and Head of Investments at RDW Investments, Managing Director and Head of Global Equities at Nuveen, and President and Chief Investment Officer at Sector Capital Management, among others. Reed's foundational experience in investment consulting began at UBS and spans back to a partnership at Consulting Services Group, LLC, advising on substantial assets. Reed holds both an MBA and a BBA from the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis, along with a CIMA® certification from The Wharton School.
