Cátia Meireles Oliveira

Cátia Meireles Oliveira has a diverse work experience in financial and business controlling, as well as auditing. Cátia began their career at KPMG in 2003, where they worked as a Junior Financial Auditor before being promoted to the role of Senior Financial Auditor. During their time at KPMG, they conducted independent examinations of various companies' financial statements in different industries, including aviation, health, professional football, hotels, automotive, energy, and government sectors.

In 2007, Cátia joined Secil, where they held multiple roles over the years. Cátia started as a Business Controlling - Group Associates, responsible for controlling the operations of the group's associates in five countries. During their tenure, they implemented a new information reporting system, reduced the reporting time, and developed a new Capex report.

Cátia then moved up to the role of Business Controlling - Group, taking on additional responsibilities such as serving as a liaison to the shareholder Semapa and overseeing a team of two trainees. Cátia also created the first-ever SEMAPA monthly report, which included the group's consolidated financial statements and analyzed key performance indicators (KPIs).

Later, Cátia became the Business Controlling and FP&A Manager at Secil, responsible for controlling the group's operations in seven countries. In this role, they developed accurate and timely management information data, supported the decision-making process, and collaborated with the Strategy and Transformation Office for the business plan.

Most recently, in 2020, Cátia joined Principle Power as the Financial/Business Controller and FP&A Manager, where they are currently employed.

Overall, Cátia Meireles Oliveira has gained extensive experience in financial and business controlling, as well as auditing, throughout their career, and has demonstrated expertise in analyzing financial data, developing reports, and supporting decision-making processes.

Cátia Meireles Oliveira holds an Executive Master's degree in Management Control and Performance, which they obtained from INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education in 2009. Prior to this, they completed a Licentiate degree in Business Administration and Management, General from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa from 1996 to 2003. Additionally, Cátia Meireles Oliveira obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas in September 2003.
