Filipa Nereu

Filipa Nereu has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries and positions. Filipa started their career as a Commercial Assistant at Banco Santander Totta in 2008. Filipa later worked as an Accounting Clerk and Assistant Manager at DIA PORTUGAL Supermercados from 2009 to 2011. Filipa then moved on to work as a Finance Analyst at MacScribus from 2012 to 2013, and as an Events Operation staff at Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel from 2012 to 2013.

In 2013, Filipa joined Scandinavian Hospitality Management as a Finance Analyst, where they contributed to the pre-opening of Hotel MOXY Milan Malpensa. Filipa also monitored debt levels and ensured compliance with debt covenants.

From 2015 to 2018, Filipa worked at Belvar in various roles, including Financial Controller for Courtyard by MARRIOTT Amsterdam Arena and Cluster Financial Controller for Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam and Courtyard By Marriott Brussels.

Filipa then worked at IKEA Group from 2018 to 2020, serving as a Financial Controller. In this role, they were responsible for securing the accounting and reporting concept, supporting compliance, and ensuring the quality of the group's financial information.

Currently, Filipa Nereu works as a Finance Controller at Principle Power since 2020.

Filipa Nereu obtained a Master's degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris in 2020. In 2016, they completed a Woman in Leadership - Masterclass from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. In 2010, Filipa pursued a Pós Graduação em Contabilidade e Fiscalidade (Postgraduate Course in Accounting and Taxation) at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management. Filipa'sundergraduate degree in Economics and Business Management, known as Licenciatura em Gestão, was earned from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management in the years 2003 to 2008.
