Senior Global Performance, Mooring And Cable Engineer at Principle Power

Rodrigo Martins de Almeida has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles and as a head coach for CDUL Rugby.

Starting in 2011, they worked as the Head Coach for CDUL Rugby, a position they held until 2016.

In 2018, Rodrigo joined Wood as a Subsea Engineering Intern, where they contributed to the development of offshore energy projects. Rodrigo was involved in subsea cable design, equipment sizing and installation studies, and provided technical support for European H2020 Tidal projects.

After completing their internship, Rodrigo continued working at Wood as a Graduate Subsea Engineer until 2020. Rodrigo'sresponsibilities included subsea cable route design, burial design, and cable protection. Rodrigo also conducted design calculations for fixed wind, tidal, and subsea cables.

In the same year, they joined TechnipFMC as an Installation Analysis Engineer. During their time there, they worked on the Skandi Vitoria vessel in the Sub-Saharan African region. Rodrigo was involved in detailed installation analysis operations for the Dalia Ph3 project.

Most recently, in 2020, Rodrigo joined Principle Power as a Mooring and Cable Engineer.
