Co-Founder & COO at Printerous

Ernest Tjahjana has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Ernest co-founded Horego in 2022, where they currently serve as the Co-Founder & COO. Prior to that, they co-founded and held the role of Co-Founder & COO at Printerous from 2020 to the present. Ernest also served as the Co-Founder & CCO at Printerous from 2020 to 2022.

Before their roles at Printerous, Ernest worked at Cashbac as the Chief Of Staff / Director of Strategy from 2018 to 2020. During this time, they played a key role in developing Cashbac, an instant reward discovery app that aims to revolutionize shopping by offering instant cashback on every purchase.

Ernest's earlier experience includes serving as the Co-Founder & COO at Printerous from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they were the Chief Commercial Officer at Alfacart.com from 2015 to 2017. At Alfacart.com, Ernest helped establish the company as the largest O2O platform in Indonesia, collaborating with the Alfa Group and expanding its e-commerce presence.

Ernest also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Kukuruyuk.com, the first refurbished goods e-commerce platform in Indonesia, from 2014 to 2015. Ernest's experience also includes working at Lazada Indonesia as the VP of Buying from 2013 to 2014 and as the Head of Electronics from 2012 to 2013.

Additionally, Ernest held the position of National Category Manager at Carrefour in 2010, where they managed a $5 million budget and contributed to the company's success as one of the largest retail groups globally. Prior to that, they served as a Category Manager at LION SUPER INDO, PT from 2008 to 2010. LION SUPER INDO is one of the top ten retailers in Indonesia and is part of the Delhaize Group.

Overall, Ernest Tjahjana has a solid background in co-founding and leading companies, driving strategy, and contributing to the growth and success of various e-commerce and retail organizations in Indonesia.

Ernest Tjahjana obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitas Pelita Harapan, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Subsequently, they pursued further education at Hult International Business School and completed an MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing from 2010 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Ernest completed the "10x1000 Tech for Inclusion Fintech Foundation Program" offered by Alipay in July 2021. Ernest also obtained a certification in "Disruptive Business Models" from Hult International Business School in June 2021.
