Tim R.

Tim R. has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Tim started their career in 1997 as a Technical Advisor at Nu Skin - Big Planet. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as an NT Administrator at Escrowdata.com. Tim then joined the Utah Air National Guard in 2000 as a Network Administrator and held the role until 2006. During their time there, they were responsible for Security and Accreditation compliance to DISA and NSA standards.

In 2006, Tim joined XanGo as a Systems Engineer, where they managed a hybrid Windows/Linux data center and was in charge of monitoring and incident response, as well as managing Exchange, Active Directory, and all Windows services.

From 2009 to 2011, they served as the IT Operations Manager at InterbankFX, managing the NOC, Systems Administration, and Help Desk teams. Tim also handled core Linux infrastructure, MS Exchange, Active Directory, and networking monitoring and incident response.

Tim joined iBAHN in 2011 as the Manager of Systems Administration, where they managed the Systems Administration and Help Desk teams and dealt with hybrid Windows/Linux environments and HP networking.

In 2014, Tim worked at OrangeSoda - A Deluxe Company as the Director of IT, leading the Help Desk and Systems Administration teams.

Currently, they are the Director of Information Technology at Priority Dispatch since April 2018. In this role, they manage an Information Technology team consisting of client support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Tim is responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance with PCI, CJIS, GDPR, and CyberEssentials regulations. Tim also manages the IAAS stack in Azure and AWS.

Tim R. began their education at Woodstock Academy from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained their high school diploma. In 2000, they attended the Defense Language Institute and earned a diploma in Spanish. Following this, from 2004 to 2005, they attended the Community College of the Air Force and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Applied Communications Technology. In the same year, they also started their studies at Park University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management - Information Systems. Tim completed this degree in 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Tim R. has also obtained several certifications. In 1999, they received the OpenLinux Certified Systems Administrator certification from Caldera Systems Inc. In 2005, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) through EC-Council. Tim further expanded their expertise by obtaining the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring (MCTS) certification from Microsoft in 2007.
