Richard Evans

Richard Evans has a comprehensive work experience in the energy and construction industry. Richard is currently the Head of Infrastructure at Priority Power since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President, Capital Execution at GridLiance, a Blackstone Portfolio Company, from 2019 to 2022.

Before joining GridLiance, Richard had a long tenure at Panda Power Funds, where they held various senior roles. As the Senior VP of Engineering and Construction, they managed engineering, procurement, and construction negotiations for combined cycle gas-fired power projects. Richard successfully led the construction of seven large-scale power projects during their time in this role. Richard also served as the Senior VP of Project Development, leading the team in identifying and developing gas-fired and solar power projects.

Earlier in their career, Richard worked at Alcoa as the Calciner Lead Team Manager from 2002 to 2007. Richard also gained valuable experience at Kier Group, where they held multiple positions, including Project/Operations Manager and Engineer/Project Manager. Richard'sresponsibilities included overseeing gas-fired power projects in Malaysia and India, managing a wastewater project in Barbados, and working on various civil engineering projects.

Richard Evans attended Darland Comprehensive School in Rossett, UK from 1975 to 1980. During this time, they pursued O Levels in multiple subjects. After completing their O Levels, they enrolled at the University of Bristol from 1982 to 1985. At the university, Richard studied Civil Engineering and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
