Karen Martin-Rodriguez

Karen Martin-Rodriguez has extensive work experience in the field of psychotherapy and counseling. Karen'smost recent role is as a Psychological Support Lead at Priory, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Psychotherapist at OnlineCouplesCounselling.com and United Health, from 2019 to the present and from 2016 to 2023, respectively. Karen also worked as a Psychotherapist at Care first from 2019 to 2022.

Before their current roles, Karen held managerial positions at Priory Group as a Wellbeing Centre Regional Manager from 2015 to 2016 and as a Therapy Services Manager from 2013 to 2015. Karen was also a Therapy Services Manager at CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria from 2010 to 2013.

Earlier in their career, Karen served as a Clinical Area Manager at Place2Be from 2005 to 2010, a Student Counselor and Adviser at South Thames College from 2003 to 2005, and a Counselor at Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence from 2001 to 2003.

Karen Martin-Rodriguez completed their BA (Hons) in Government and Public Policy at Northumbria University from 1979 to 1982. Later, from 2000 to 2005, they pursued an M.A. in Psychotherapy and Counselling, specializing in Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy, from Regent's University London.
