Steve Baker

Steve Baker has extensive work experience in the social care sector. Steve held the position of Managing Director at Priory from June 2020 to present, and previously from November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mencap for over two decades, where they held various roles including Operations Director and Interim Director of Employment & Innovation. Steve was responsible for overseeing care and support services, managing teams, and achieving significant improvements in profitability and regulatory performance. In addition to their work at Mencap, Steve also served as Chair & Trustee at Cambridge Cyrenians Limited from April 2008 to December 2014.

Steve Baker completed a Diploma in Management from the University of Leicester from 1998 to 2000. Steve then pursued an MBA (Executive MBA) in Business from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Mannheim in 2009 to further enhance their MBA studies.
