Usha Challa

Usha Challa is an experienced data engineer currently working at PRISM since June 2020, following a pivotal role as Lead Data Scientist at Blue Shield of California from July 2016 to December 2019, where a functioning Proof of Concept for machine learning use-cases in claims adjudication was developed and presented to senior executives. Prior experience includes senior software engineering positions at einfosys and Entisys360, focusing on developing ETL pipelines, automating data extraction processes, and creating web applications using various architectural patterns. Usha also has a strong background in software engineering from previous roles at Premier IT Solutions, Integrated Consulting Inc, and as a Revenue Manager for Indian Hotels Company Limited. Usha holds a Master’s degree in Information & Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA in International Business from Delhi School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Bangalore University.
