Jennifer Pelayo

Jennifer Pelayo has extensive experience in the field of research and laboratory operations, currently serving as a Research Associate at Proteogenomics Research Institute for Systems Medicine since October 2018. Previously, Jennifer held the positions of Lab Technician and Safety Officer at VRISD from January 2009 to March 2018, and Lab Technician at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center from July 2006 to June 2009. Jennifer began a career in healthcare as a Patient Access Specialist at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest from 2005 to 2006, and earlier worked as a California Condor Keeper at San Diego Zoo Global from January 2002 to July 2005. Jennifer earned a Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from San Francisco State University between 1999 and 2001.
