Teun Hendriks is a seasoned System Architect and Research Fellow at TNO-ESI since May 2005, specializing in systems architecting and model-based systems engineering, with a focus on transforming high-tech systems into distributed solutions utilizing cloud technologies for innovation. As a joint-chair of the Technical and Standardisation Committee at TISA since November 2007, Teun plays a crucial role in shaping global mobility standards for sustainable travel. Additionally, Teun serves as Principal at Teatownlake, providing expert advice to the automotive and service provider industries on traffic information and autonomous driving issues. A career spanning several decades includes significant roles at Siemens VDO Trading B.V., North American Philips Corporation, and Royal Philips Electronics, marked by leadership in advanced development and research in navigation systems and adaptive control software. Teun holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Technology from Delft University of Technology.

TNO-ESI is a Dutch Joint Innovation Centre of industry, academia and TNO for high-tech embedded systems design and engineering. It has a close cooperation with high-tech industry, as well as a strong association with fundamental research of academia, both national and international and TNO. Realization of these topics requires technical top talent with in-depth understanding of the challenges and needs of today’s high-tech product innovation.
