Nishanth Kodumuri

Nishanth Kodumuri is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in neurology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Prisma Health since November 2021, Nishanth has previously held positions including Senior Fellow at the NIH StrokeNet fellowship from July 2021 to June 2022, and Vascular Neurology Fellow at Prisma Health/USC School of Medicine from August 2020 to September 2021. Nishanth was Chief Resident at Prisma Health from July 2019 to August 2020, and completed a Neurology Residency at Palmetto Health from July 2016 to August 2020. Early in his career, Nishanth worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, a House Surgeon at Osmania Medical College, and held research assistant roles at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Indian Institute of Science. Nishanth earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Osmania Medical College, following secondary education at Greenwood High School.
