Tech Lead at Prisma

Jason Kuhrt has a long and varied work experience. Jason began their career in 2007 as a Graphic Designer for time's thievish progress to eternity FILMS, where they designed posters and microsites for films. In 2010, they worked as a Graphic Designer for Kenneth Dean, Prof., McGill University, designing a poster, website and jewel-case for the documentary film Bored in Heaven. In 2011, they worked as Art Director and Frontend Engineer for Artfox, where they designed platform features, UI views, and brand touch-points. In 2012, they worked as Senior Frontend Engineer for Presstube Inc, where they architected a frontend stack for a large team of developers. Jason also worked as Designer and Frontend Engineer for Taking Root that same year. In 2013, they worked as Lead Platform Architect for littleBits, where they built micro-service cloud platforms, designed APIs to interact with cloudBit, collaborated on cloudBit product development, maintained service availability, and wrote software specifications. Jason also worked as Senior Frontend Engineer for Kenzan Media, where they developed modular UI components and implemented hardest UI views. In 2016, they worked as Tech Lead for SSENSE, and in 2018 they worked as Software Engineer for Dialogue. Jason currently works as Tech Lead and Prisma Labs Lead for Prisma, since 2019.

Jason Kuhrt attended Concordia University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a BFA in Design. Jason also attended HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2008, studying Design. No additional certifications were obtained.
