Jon Harrell

Jon Harrell has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Their most recent role is as a Senior Developer Advocate at Prisma, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lob as a Sr API Engineer, Print and Mail from October 2021 to January 2023, where they developed new APIs and improved existing code bases. Jon also worked at Sumo Logic as an API Engineer from October 2020 to September 2021. Before that, they worked at Inkling as a Software Engineer from January 2018 to October 2020, where they primarily focused on backend development and drove the switch from Flow-typed JavaScript to TypeScript. Jon started their career at CodeHS as a Software Engineer from July 2015 to December 2017, leading various engineering projects. Jon also served as a Summer Intern at CodeHS in 2014. Jon holds a role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from 2012 to 2014, where they provided support in teaching and assisting in computer science concepts.

Jon Harrell obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they have an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification, obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020.
