⚛ Tyler Benfield

Tyler Benfield has been a software engineer for over 10 years. In 2011, they began their career as an Intern Software Engineer at Penske Racing, where they wrote code and built mobile and desktop apps. In 2013, they joined Standpoint Technologies as a Solutions Engineer, where they gained experience in all roles of software development and became the lead engineer and architect for JobPro. In 2018, they moved to SentryOne as a Senior Software Development Engineer and Software Development Engineer, where they migrated the flagship SQL Sentry product into the web and hosted a series of talks on React, TypeScript, and general web development. In 2021, they joined Truepill as a Staff Software Engineer, where they provided oversight to four teams across multiple products and architected greenfield systems. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Prisma.

Tyler Benfield received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wingate University in 2013, after graduating in 2009. ⚛ Tyler went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018.
