Mordechai Yaakobi

Mordechai Yaakobi is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Back End Tech Lead at Prisma Photonics since May 2025, Mordechai has previously held significant roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Payoneer and HCL Technologies, focusing on mobile application security and product development. Prior experience includes contributions to Guardicore in malware detection, NSO Group in mobile intelligence software, and Radware in web application firewalls. Mordechai's career began at BMC Software and spans various positions where expertise in system design and security has been demonstrated. Mordechai holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.A. in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
