Sharon Marcus

Sharon Marcus has a long and varied work experience in the education field. In 2008, they began as a 2nd Grade Teacher for the Jefferson Parish Public School System. The following year, they became a Research Assistant for the Child Development Lab at The Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Research Assistant for Neurogenetics at the Columbia University Department of Psychiatry and New York State Psychiatric Institute. In 2010, they began as Lead Kindergarten Teacher for KIPP Central City Primary and then became an Instructional Coach for the same organization in 2015. In 2017, they were promoted to Assistant Principal for KIPP Central City Primary, and in 2019 they became the 3-8 Math Achievement Manager for KIPP New Orleans. Currently, Sharon is the Head of Teacher Community & Professional Learning and Customer Success Manager for Prisms of Reality.

Sharon Marcus obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The Johns Hopkins University in 2008, followed by a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2015.
