Samuel Perez

Samuel Perez is an accomplished professional in criminal justice reform and mental health counseling, currently serving as the Director of Grassroots at Prison Fellowship since 2018. In this role, Samuel oversees advocacy campaigns, develops strategic initiatives, and manages a network of over 350 Justice Ambassador volunteers while supervising a team of five staff members. Earlier positions include Justice Ambassador Program Manager, where Samuel led advocacy efforts for numerous volunteers, and Grassroots Strategist, focusing on recruitment and training. Samuel's experience also includes serving as Residential House Coordinator at Youth For Tomorrow, overseeing treatment groups for clients, and directing a Chick-fil-A franchise with significant annual sales and a large team. Samuel holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Liberty University.
