Ethan Sparks

Ethan Sparks has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Ethan started their career as a GIS Intern at the El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail Association, where they analyzed historic maps and writings to gain a deeper understanding of the trail's history and created maps for various purposes. Ethan then worked as an Intern at the Railroad Commission of Texas- Oil & Gas Division and Groundwater Advisory Unit, where they gained knowledge about underground injection wells and permits, performing area of review analyses.

After that, Ethan joined RunTitle as a GIS Analyst, where they established and expanded the GIS department, creating an extensive mapping system used for both internal and external purposes. Ethan also analyzed large data sets to identify optimal geographic areas for acquisition opportunities.

Next, Ethan worked as a GIS Technician at Apple via Apex, where they analyzed, validated, and enhanced data content for consumer applications, while providing support to colleagues and ensuring the quality control of their work. Ethan then pursued a role as a Fly Fishing Guide in Austin, Texas, managing clients, bookings, and logistics, as well as instructing and leading trips for clients.

Continuing their career progression, Ethan became a GIS Consultant at Four Cornerstone, specializing in providing GIS consulting services. Currently, they hold the position of VP Solutions at Prius Intelli, where they contribute to helping companies save money and increase productivity through the integration of aerial imagery and machine learning technologies. Ethan'sresponsibilities include providing GIS & Mapping Services, Pipeline Integrity Management, Site Integrity Management, Route Planning, and Leak Detection, among others.

Ethan Sparks obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics, specializing in Statistics, Probability, and Data Analysis, from The University of Texas at Austin. Ethan also concurrently earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography, focusing on Geographic Information Sciences, from the same university. Ethan pursued their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2015.
