Roger Kurtz

Vice President Of Production at Private Division

Roger Kurtz has extensive work experience in the technology and gaming industry. Roger is currently employed at Private Division as the Senior Director of Production, where they manage a team of Producers and Release Managers in Seattle. Their role involves working with independent developers to bring their creative visions to life and successfully market their games on a global scale.

Before joining Private Division, Roger worked at Microsoft as a Senior Program Manager Lead in the Windows NEXT organization. In this role, they managed a team of PMs and led the development and roadmap of various desktop and mobile apps that come with Windows.

Prior to that, Roger spent several years at Microsoft Game Studios as a Senior Producer. Roger served as the Lead Producer for the cancelled AAA action/adventure game, Scalebound, and also worked on the Xbox One Alignment team, which initiated and managed the Xbox One program within Microsoft Studios.

Roger's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Product Manager at Xbox 360, where they played a key role in the growth of Xbox LIVE ad business. Roger also worked at MSN eShop as a Data Services Manager, Program Manager, where they led various projects related to merchant onboarding, implementation of MSN Wallet and Dollars, and marketing campaigns for multiple merchants.

Roger's career started at CompareNet, where they worked as a Marcom Manager.

Roger Kurtz attended Reno High School from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a general field of study but did not obtain a degree. Roger continued their education at Stanford University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English and Communication.
