Elexia Torres

Elexia Torres, MA, currently serves as the Regional Manager and Project Director at AARP Foundation, overseeing the Phoenix Senior Community Employment Services Program (SCSEP), which assists low-income individuals aged 55 and older in finding employment. Elexia has extensive experience in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, having worked as an Independent Contractor in real estate, a Corporate Donations Liaison Volunteer Consultant for the Private School Tuition Fund 123, and previously held leadership roles including President/CEO of TruNorth Consulting, Chief Operations Officer at Florence Crittenton, and Chief of the Office of Community Empowerment at the Maricopa County Department of Health. Additionally, Elexia's background includes managing health-related programs for Asian populations in Arizona and providing counseling for a nonprofit social services agency. Elexia holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Seattle University.
