Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU)
Ankunda Brendah is an experienced investment specialist in the crops sector with a strong background in agricultural management and research. Currently serving at the Private Sector Foundation Uganda since October 2020, Ankunda previously held the position of Farm Manager at Watoto Child Care Ministries, focusing on farm management, quality control, and vegetable agronomy. Prior roles include Technical Assistant at the National Agriculture Research Organisation and Head of Department for Herbs and Spices at Amfri Farms, emphasizing organic production. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, Agronomy, and Crop Science from Makerere University, along with several diplomas and certificates in sustainable agribusiness, financial management, and project management from various institutions, including Galilee International Management Institute and Uganda Management Institute.
Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU)
Private sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) is Uganda’s umbrella body for the private sector made up of over 230 Business Associations, Corporate bodies and the major Public Sector Agencies that support private sector growth. Since its founding in 1995, PSFU has served as a focal point for private sector advocacy as well as capacity building and continues to sustain a positive dialogue with Government on behalf of the private sector. PSFU is also Government’s implementation partner for several projects and programmes aimed at strengthening the private sector as an engine of economic growth in Uganda.
