Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU)
Edwin Kamalha, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at Busitema University since August 2009, where a mentorship framework has been integral to professional development. In addition to academic roles, Edwin serves as an External Evaluator for the Private Sector Foundation Uganda since February 2020, focusing on appraising funding proposals aimed at skills development in the private sector. Those responsibilities emphasize project feasibility and due diligence. Edwin has also worked as a Freelance Inspector with QIMA since July 2016 and has held research positions as a PhD Research Associate at Politecnico di Torino and as a Doctoral Researcher at ENSAIT. Previous experience includes business development at Shanghai Prince International and spinning supervision at Pearl Textiles. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and the University of Lille, respectively, alongside a master's degree in Textile Sciences and Engineering from Donghua University and a bachelor's degree in Textile Technology from Kyambogo University.

Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU)
Private sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) is Uganda’s umbrella body for the private sector made up of over 230 Business Associations, Corporate bodies and the major Public Sector Agencies that support private sector growth. Since its founding in 1995, PSFU has served as a focal point for private sector advocacy as well as capacity building and continues to sustain a positive dialogue with Government on behalf of the private sector. PSFU is also Government’s implementation partner for several projects and programmes aimed at strengthening the private sector as an engine of economic growth in Uganda.
