Bethany Engel

Bethany Engel, CPA, began their work experience as a Seasonal Tax Preparer at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. in January 2018. Bethany then went on to work as an Assurance Summer Intern at CohnReznick LLP from June to August 2018. In the same year, they served as an Accounting Graduate Assistant at Virginia Tech from August to December 2018. In 2019, Bethany returned to CohnReznick LLP, initially as an Assurance Busy Season Intern from January to June, and then as an Assurance Associate from October 2019 to July 2021. Bethany later became a Senior Assurance Associate at CohnReznick LLP from July 2021 to March 2023. Currently, Bethany works as a Senior Accountant at Privia Health, starting in April 2023.

Bethany Engel, CPA obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution between 2014 and 2017. Additionally, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in September 2020.
