Heather G.

Heather G. has extensive experience in instructional design and learning development. Heather began their career as a Youth Program Coordinator and Curriculum Designer at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, where they managed and organized youth groups and created curriculum based on Bloom's Taxonomy. Heather then worked as an Administrative Assistant at the College of Charleston, where they assisted with administrative tasks and facilitated board meetings. Heather went on to become an Instructional Designer and Instructor at the College of Charleston, collaborating with faculty to design and deliver training content. Heather also worked as an Intern in Training, Curriculum, and Instructional Design at the Charleston County School District. Heather continued to advance their career by working as an Instructional Designer at Athlos Education, where they delivered differentiated trainings and developed various ILT trainings and assets. Heather then joined Dorchester School District 2 as an Instructional Designer, partnering with other instructors to design and deliver curriculum. Heather further expanded their expertise as an Instructional Designer at the Berkeley County School District, where they developed learner-led curriculum and created virtual training sessions and assessments. Heather then transitioned to a role at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as an Elearning Developer II, focusing on developing efficient e-learnings and translating technical content. Most recently, Heather worked as a Senior Instructional Designer at VillageMD, where they designed and delivered engaging e-learning curriculums and received recognition for collaboration and rapport-building. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Learning and Enablement Associate at Privia Health.

Heather G. holds a Master's degree from the College of Charleston. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in American History from American University and another Bachelor's degree in History from Allegheny College. Heather also studied History at the University of Exeter. In terms of additional certifications, Heather obtained various certifications in fields such as change management, e-learning, instructional design, marketing, and UX design from institutions like the Project Management Institute, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, and Coursera.
