Justin Toomer

Justin Toomer has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on practice operations and strategic initiatives. Justin is currently the Director of Practice Operations at Privia Health, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Performance Consultant at Privia Health from April 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Privia Health, Justin worked at Resurgens Orthopaedics as the Director of Strategic Initiatives from December 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of a full-scale EMR/PM system across multiple locations and overseeing various operational workflows.

Prior to their role at Resurgens Orthopaedics, Justin served as the Director of Practice Operations at United Surgical Partners International from December 2014 to March 2017. Justin'sresponsibilities included managing practice operations and ensuring efficient delivery of healthcare services.

Justin also gained valuable experience at Emory Healthcare, where they worked as a Manager of Business Operations from August 2012 to December 2014. Justin previously worked as a Project Management Intern at Emory Healthcare from May 2012 to August 2012.

Additionally, Justin has interned at Mayo Clinic as an Administrative Intern from August 2011 to January 2012 and as a Administrative Intern at Mayo Clinic from January 2011 to May 2011.

Justin has also held leadership positions during their time at the University of North Florida, where they served as the Vice President of the Health Administration Student Association from January 2011 to December 2011.

Justin started their professional career at Ryland Homes as an Assistant Sales Consultant from 2007 to 2009.

Justin Toomer earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Florida State University between the years 2002 and 2006. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Health Administration from the University of North Florida from 2010 to 2012.
