Zia Khan

Chief Medical Officer, Privia Medical Group, Georgia at Privia Health

Dr. Zia Khan serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Privia Medical Group— Georgia. Additionally, she owns and operates a multi-provider practice, Peachtree Medical Center, in Tyrone, GA and is a second generation internal medicine physician. She is also active in the long term care space and serves as medical director for post-acute facilities.

Prior to opening her own practice, Dr Khan worked as a hospitalist in Brooklyn, New York. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Loyola University in Chicago Illinois, followed by her medical education at St. George's University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada. She completed her Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical center in New York, New York.

Dr. Khan is a member of The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine and previously served as President of the Georgia Society of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine from 2017-2019.
