Alex Meng

Alex Meng has over 12 years of work experience across a variety of industries. In 2006, they began their career as a UWired Technician at Seattle Public Schools, followed by a Student Help Desk Analyst role at UW Medicine. That same year, they also held a Software Development Intern role at Microsoft. In 2007, they worked as a Co-op Programmer at IBM, followed by a Software Design Engineer Intern role at Expedia in 2008. From 2009 to 2015, they held various roles at Microsoft, including Software Development Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Engineering Manager. In 2013, they worked as a Software Engineer at LearnSprout and has been in the same role at PrizePool since 2020.

Alex Meng began their educational journey in 2005 at Bellevue College, where they studied Computer Science but did not earn a degree. In 2006, they transferred to the University of Washington and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2009.
